Uniswap Labs acquires NFT aggregator Genie

Uniswap Labs has announced their acquisition of Genie, the first NFT marketplace aggregator. Genie lets anyone buy and sell Ethereum NFTs from all of the major marketplaces for free, all using their site interface.

Uniswap plans to use Genie to integrate NFTs into their already popular web app, allowing users to buy and sell NFTs directly on the Uniswap site. The company also plans to integrate NFTs into their developer APIs and widgets.

The company has also announced a USDC airdrop for historical users of the Genie platform. The airdrop will launch in August and be available to claim for 12 months. Further details on the airdrop will be released at a later date.

Current Genie users will still be able to go directly to the Genie website until the full Uniswap NFT platform has been developed.
