Nickelodeon teases upcoming 90s cartoon NFT drop

Nickelodeon, the popular childrens television channel, is releasing an NFT collection based on some of their hit 90s cartoon shows, in partnership with NFT company, Recur. The newly created Nickelodeon NFT twitter account posted this 10-second trailer teasing the upcoming release.

Although exact details on which characters or shows will be included in the NFT collection have yet to be revealed, we can see characters from Rugrats, Hey Arnold! and Doo Wop Dinosaurs throughout the trailer.

In October of 2021, ViacomCBS (Nickelodeon's parent company) announced its partnership with Recur, stating the desire to bring its iconic IP and franchises to the blockchain world. Earlier this year, Paramount Pictures (another ViacomCBS company) released a collection of Star Trek spacecraft NFTs on the Recur platform, signalling the start of what should be a very fruitful relationship.
