Fake heiress Anna Sorokin is launching an NFT project

Anna Sorokin, the infamous fake heiress who inspired a Netflix series about her fraud, has announced her next venture- an NFT project. Sorokin, who spent almost 4 years in prison for fraud, is releasing the project in an attempt to move away from her scammer persona.

In an interview with NBC, Sorokin announced that she had minted 10 NFTs, with holders getting "exclusive access" to her, including things like one-on-one phone calls. Three "ultra platinum" NFTs will grant holders the opportunity to meet Sorokin in person, as well as receive some "personal items".

Sorokin, who used the fake name Anna Delvey to defraud banks, hotels and other individuals out of thousands of dollars, is currently in US Immigration and Customs custody, awaiting deportation to Germany.

The name of her NFT collection, "Reinventing Anna", is a play on the aforementioned Netflix series "Inventing Anna".
