Crypto company Ripple has announced an NFT partnership with Lotus, a British automaker. The automotive NFTs will be launching on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).
Lotus is launching the collection in partnership with NFT PRO, an NFT company that claims to cover the "whole digital supply chain". In choosing to use Ripple's XRPL blockchain to launch their project, the company is taking advantage of the chains low transaction cost and carbon neutral status.
Simon Lane, Director, Lotus Advanced Performance, commented: “Lotus has always been about cutting-edge innovation, and entering the Web3 space in this way, with a truly customer-focused NFT programme, is another excellent example of that. Partnering with NFT PRO, a real expert in this field, means we are guaranteed to deliver truly memorable content for a new digital community of Lotus fans.”
Each NFT in this genesis collection will pay homage to the spirit of the Lotus brand. The company promises to deliver unique, exclusive perks to all holders of their NFTs. Further details on the project will be released next month.
